Patricia Sueltz
President & Chief Executive Officer
Patricia Sueltz joined LogLogic in 2007 from SurfControl, which was acquired by WebSense in October 2007. Before serving as SurfControl's CEO, Sueltz was President, Global Operations, through Salesforce.com's IPO process. Prior to that, Sueltz was Executive Vice President of Services and a Corporate Officer of Sun Microsystems, Inc. for four years, having previously held a number of senior positions at IBM, including General Manager, Java Software and Vice President, Internet Software. Ms. Sueltz has also served as a Board member of Delphi Systems and Amgen, Inc., both Fortune 500 companies. She currently serves on the national board for the American Foundation for the Blind. Ms. Sueltz holds a Bachelor's degree in political science and was a Rockefeller Foundation Fellow at the School of Theology at Claremont in California.
Joseph Consul
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Joe joined LogLogic in 2008 from Everdream Corp, a leading SaaS company acquired by Dell in 2007. Joe served as the CFO at Everdream, leading the strategic financing effort that culminated in the Dell acquisition. Prior to his work at Everdream, Joe was the CFO of Arcot Systems, where he supported a 60% growth rate while improving margins. Prior to serving at Arcot, Joe was the CFO at Tumbleweed Communications, where he led the initial public offering and secondary offerings for Tumbleweed. Joe started his career at KPMG where he was a Senior Auditor after which he joined Adobe Systems as its first corporate controller and implemented systems and processes that supported growth from $17M to $125M in revenue over three years. Joe received his BS in Business Administration at San Jose State University with honors after which he earned his MBA at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. He is on the Advisory Board for the SJSU College of Business.
On Lee
Executive Vice President, Engineering & Chief Technology Officer
On Lee joined LogLogic from Symantec Corporation. He recently built the Advanced Concepts Group at Symantec, which is a startup-type organization within Symantec Research Labs that focuses on building new products in emerging areas. Under his leadership, his teams developed Symantec Database Security, Web Analysis/Security and Parental Control products. Prior to the above role, he held various management and technical positions at Microsoft. From the beginnings of the product development cycles, he made significant contributions to the following key products: Tablet PC, 64-bit Windows, 3D Graphics and Thin-client at Microsoft. Mr. Lee holds a Master's and Bachelor's degrees in computer science with a minor in Mathematics from the Utah State University.
Dominique Levin
Executive Vice President, Marketing and Strategy
Ms. Levin is responsible for corporate marketing, product marketing, product management and corporate development. Ms. Levin joined LogLogic in 2004. Prior to joining LogLogic, Dominique was at Crimson Investments, where she was a board member and vice president of marketing for PoliVec, a security software company. Previously, Ms. Levin managed the voice-over-IP (VoIP) business at Dialogic (an Intel Company), including the industry's first VoIP gateway. Prior to that, she launched Japan's first international remote access service for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone. Ms. Levin received an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated with distinction. She also holds a Cum Laude M.S. degree in industrial engineering from the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands.
Robert Yusin
Executive Vice President, WorldWide Field Operations
Robert is responsible for managing sales, channel and the customer support organizations for LogLogic. He was Formerly Sr. Director of corporate sales with Symantec and Vice President of sales and services for Finjan Software. Robert brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in applications, security, and software markets globally. His previous experience includes executive sales roles at Commerce One, MyCIO.com/Network Associates, and StorageTek. Robert has built and managed sales organizations for companies and division from zero to $130+ million in revenue, and has held various advisory board positions to leading technology start-ups. He holds a B.A. in Management and a M.B.A. from Saint Mary's College California.
Kevin Carroll
Executive Vice President, Systems & Operations
Kevin Carroll joined LogLogic in January of 2008 bringing over 25 years of experience in leading world class operations organizations at EMC Corporation, Sun Microsystems, and Tyco International. Kevin is responsible for managing the development, manufacturing, and fulfillment of LogLogic's appliance platforms, as well as the company's IT infrastructure and facilities. At EMC, Kevin was Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management and also served as the company's Chief Procurement Officer. Prior to that, he held several executive roles at Sun Microsystems spanning all aspects of supply chain management and manufacturing for workstations, servers, and storage products. Kevin began his career in product engineering and manufacturing management roles with Tyco International and Kollmorgen Corporation. He received his bachelor's degree from Plattsburgh State University College in New York and continued his graduate education at Adelphi University.
Diane Deutsch
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Diane Deutsch joined Loglogic, Inc. in January, 2008 and is responsible for all aspects of the company's Global Human Resources including: recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, leadership development and the continuing evolution of the company's corporate culture. Ms. Deutsch brings more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources management to Loglogic. Prior to Loglogic, she served as Senior VP of Human Resouces at Surfcontrol, VP of Human Resources at Chameleon Systems and Director of Human Resources at Nuance, Avaya, Lucent and Octel. Diane is a member of the Society of Human Resources (SHRM), the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and World at Work. Diane holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from San Jose State University and a Masters in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco.
Richard Marquez
Vice President, WorldWide Partner Sales
With over 20 years of partner sales leadership, Mr. Marquez is responsible for managing the worldwide partner business at LogLogic. In his role, Richard directs the channel sales teams around the world as they enable partners to extend LogLogic's reach into new markets. Prior to joining LogLogic, Richard was the Vice President of North America Channels at Computer Associates. Richard oversaw the teams responsible for CA's Distribution, National Reseller, VAR, OEM and Alliances channels. Before joining CA, Richard spent 10 years at Symantec Corporation, focused primarily on growing enterprise revenues through channels. He held several senior management positions including Director of Corporate Channels where he was responsible for directing all channel sales activities targeting Enterprise, Large and Medium-size customers supported through Symantec's channels. Previously, Richard was the Director of Enterprise Field Sales, managing a team of Regional Managers and their Enterprise Field Sales Account Managers. Before joining Symantec, Richard was with NeXT Computer where he held various channel sales and marketing positions, including Manager of Reseller Channels. Prior to NeXT Computer, Mr. Marquez was Director of Computer Resale for Stanford University where he managed the largest educational computer resale operation in the country. Mr. Marquez holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
Bassam Khan
Vice President, Product Management and Product Marketing
Bassam joined LogLogic in 2008 to lead its product management and marketing organization. He came to LogLogic from Cloudmark, a messaging security provider, where he was the Vice President of Marketing and Product Marketing. Before Cloudmark, Bassam was the Vice President of Product Management at Venturi Wireless. Prior to that, he headed up various Product Marketing functions at Portal Software helping it grow from an early-stage startup to an established publicly traded company. Bassam was also a product manager in Oracle's database group in the 1990's. Bassam has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and Managerial Economics from Carnegie Mellon and a Master's in MIS from Boston University.
Barbara Rogan
Vice President, Legal Affairs
Barbara Rogan joined LogLogic, Inc. in April 2008 and is responsible for the company's legal needs. Ms. Rogan previously served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Brocade Communications where she supported the Services and Support business unit's legal needs. Prior to Brocade, Ms. Rogan was a senior director and corporate counsel at SurfControl, Inc. where she managed the legal contracts and intellectual property portfolio on a world-wide basis. Prior to SurfControl, Ms. Rogan was divisional counsel at Fair Isaac Corporation for the Enterprise Decision Management business unit. Prior to her corporate work, Ms. Rogan worked as a prosecutor for Los Angeles County and Santa Clara County. Ms. Rogan has a bachelors degree in government from Claremont McKenna College. Ms. Rogan received her Juris Doctorate from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco and her LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from Santa Clara University School of Law.
Byron S. Lee
Vice President, Engineering
Byron joined LogLogic in 2008 and leads Engineering Development, which includes the LogLogic Applications, Platform and LogLabs teams. Byron brings more than 20 years of Engineering experience to Loglogic, including circuit design, embedded systems, firmware and software development. He spent 10 years doing applied research in storage and manufacturing instrumentation systems at the IBM Almaden Research Center, then branched out to work in industries ranging from biotechnology, PC systems, e-Commerce, software services, social networking, non-profit fund raising and market research. Byron came to LogLogic from AlphaDetail Inc, where as Vice President of Engineering, he help to grow an early stage startup to over $10 million revenue. Byron has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Arun Gowda
Vice President, Business Development & Services
Arun Gowda joined LogLogic in 2005 from Check Point Software Technologies and is responsible for business development, professional services, and training services at LogLogic. Arun brings more than 14 years of experience in business development, sales, & marketing. At Check Point, Arun managed global partners in the OPSEC (Open Platform for Security) program including Dell, IBM, Nortel, Red Hat, and Sun Microsystems. Prior to that, he spent 6 years at the semiconductor division of Texas Instruments where he managed large networking companies in the Bay Area. Arun holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
Jason DeStefano
Co-Founder and Principal Architect
As Co-Founder and Principal Architect, Jason DeStefano leads a team of architects who oversee the design and development of LogLogic's award winning products. DeStefano is recognized as an innovator and visionary in the field of log management and intelligence. He pioneered the development of the first enterprise-class log management and intelligence solution capable of processing in excess of 1.5 billion messages per day on a single appliance. Before co-founding LogLogic, Mr. DeStefano served as a network analyst for six years with Cargill, Inc. in Minnesota, where he managed the company's DNS servers worldwide and developed software tools for use internally. These tools were used to monitor the connectivity and usage of thousands of network devices in real time and generate various operational and managerial reports. Mr. DeStefano has several patents pending for his work on developing the original code for LogLogic products. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University.
Thomas Grabowski
Co-Founder and Vice President, Customer Advocacy
Prior to founding LogLogic, Mr. Grabowski served as a regional systems engineer for netForensics, while working closely with enterprise customers to implement security management solutions. He has also served as a systems engineer for NetScout Systems, where he introduced distributed network management with RMON2 probes. Mr. Grabowski holds a BBA in management of information systems from the University of Wisconsin.
